The turnout of talent was inspiring at the 1-v-1 All Style Jam we co-hosted with BBoy extrodinaire Marcus “The Dark Knight” Johnson.  Fresh off the road after an extended tour with the Harlem Globetrotters, MJ marked his return to the ATL with a dance party at Rhythma. We saw over 30 competitors vie for the prize, but in this contest even those who made it past only the first round were winners

Be prepared to work! This class will get your body warmed up and blood flowing in order to dance with optimal isolations and control, which is what the instructor specializes in:).  The class focuses on Tribal Bellydance technique and is frequently fused with Indian Bharatanatyam, Cabaret, and traditional bellydance styles, but more commonly  fused with Popping and Animated Hip Hop Style.  You will enjoy the sounds of electronic bellydance music while working with isolations, popping, waving, undulations, warping as well as studying technique in all the fundamentals of bellydance; back-bends, turns, shimmies, etc.
